Exeter 3 - 1 West Ham
in the EFL Trophy. Not even sure if this means we're out.

Don't be so ridiculous, NS.

You're right a very young side. We were missing 6 or 7 players away on International duty. Most notably Coventry,Scully,Cardaso and Diallo. Even Sead Hakšabanović who is back from on loan in Sweden was missing, forgotton man but could play against England tonight.
Not really a true reflection.
I don't know why they paly these games during International break,it severly weakens teams with international and is not a true gage as 15 yr olds are playing.

I was at the game tonight.

West ham offered very little but Exeter were excellent particularly in the advanced positions. A couple of experienced pros like Dean Mosley (ex palace) and Taylor made a real difference.

WHU showed a couple of flashes but lacked the discipline to make their superior speed on the wings count, getting flagged offside on many occasions when put through.

a shit competition again proving the majority of players playing u23 football will be lucky to get a career at a decent non league level

Some players would be away with international u21 teams.
Plus it’s an u21 team rather than u23 as they play in PL2

To be honest, I think even we played a weakened u21 side.

Re: Exeter 3 - 1 West Ham
It's the U21's, this I'm afraid to say was our best chance of getting to a cup final this season, but our future premiership stars cannot beat a division 2 club, oh wait, the first eleven couldn't beat a division 1 team (Oxford) either.

I would imagine that’s them out.
Senior team sending bad influence to the youngsters?
